Oral repair membranes are biological materials used for the repair of soft oral tissues, aiding in the restoration of damaged oral tissues and facilitating the healing process. The collaboration between PhaBuilder and Peking University School of Stomatology aims to develop new types of oral repair membranes using PHA materials to enhance the efficiency and safety of oral repair procedures.
Plastic Surgery Materials
Product Introduction:
In the collaboration on the development of PHA biomaterials for plastic surgery between PhaBuilder, Li Zhengyao's team from the Plastic Surgery Hospital of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, and Chen Guoqiang's team, Chen Guoqiang's team from Tsinghua University is primarily responsible for the preparation of PHA scaffolds, microspheres, and other possible forms of PHA materials. Li Zhengyao's team is mainly in charge of cell, animal, and potentially future human experiments with PHA materials. PhaBuilder is primarily responsible for the production and purification of medical-grade PHA raw materials.
Orthopedic Implant Materials
Product Introduction:
Orthopedic biomaterials refer to materials that can be implanted into the human body to treat skeletal diseases, replace bone tissue, and restore the normal physiological functions of bones. Data shows that the market share of biomaterials products in China accounts for 46% of the trillion-scale medical device market. The clinical demand for orthopedic biomaterials is relatively large, accounting for 37.5% of the global biomaterials market, making it the leading segment in terms of market share within the biomaterials industry.
